Singer songwriter, Jen Ella’s latest release will have listeners hooked in seconds with it’s infectious melody and emotional lyrics. Eyes For You takes listeners on a 3 minute journey of love, heartbreak and addiction. According to Jen, the track is about ‘It’s about chasing something that’s not good for you. Though you know it’s not right for you, you continue to chase it anyways.’ Eyes For You is a track that people can relate to. The honestly in Jen’s lyrics help listeners connect to the song on a personal level – this can be such a difficult thing to do as a songwriter, yet Jen achieves this incredibly well in Eyes For You. The indie folk style of the track creates an easy listening flow to the melody where one listen is just not enough. Although Jen is a new discovery here for us at The Music Files. it’s clear her talent in not only song writing but singing is taking her places and we can’t wait to see where!
