‘Moment’ is a beautifully delicate indie-pop track balanced around The Crayon Set’s signature female / male lead vocals, full of sweet sugary melodies and infectious pop hooks. There is a dreamy undertone to ‘Moment’ provided by a bed of reverberated guitar and a beautiful arp line throughout the song.
The melancholy vocals take slightly darker lyrical tone contrasting to the upbeat sounds in the track, but still remains pop’y and holds you in the cloud that The Crayon Set create with their spacy well produced synthy lo-fi pop masterpiece in ‘Moment’.
With a recent run of single’s showcasing the bands new sound it’s definitely got me looking forward to the release of their upcoming album ‘Downer Disco’ which is due out in June.
