WHY WE ARE DIGGIN THEM: Captivating vocals, catchy basslines and relatable lyrics are just some of the traits you can expect from The Great Leslie. Ever listen to a band that you instantly get?! Well this was how we felt when we first listened to The Great Leslie…more than just another indie rock band. Their music stands out incredibly well and it won’t be long till they are the next big thing!

THE MUSIC FILES FAVOURITE TRACK: Out of My Hands. This was the first track we heard and it immediately stood out for us. The chilling vocals, gripping lyrics and gentle blend of acoustics make up this incredible pop rock track. I just think this would be such a beautiful track to see live… the type of song that the whole crowd would be singing along to. The lyrics are real, honest and relatable allowing fans to connect with not only the song but also the band. If this is just one track, can you imagine what else the band have in store for us?!

THE MUSIC FILES FAVOURITE LYRICS: ‘Honey, don’t want no money, just want you and me, just want your love’ (Money)

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS AND GIG HIGHLIGHTS: The band have headlined the Camden Assembly, The Finsbury and the Raven, packing out the venues (BCV of course). More recently they had their song Money picked as BBC Introducing’s track of the week, and have since had there next song on BBC intro again. They have had 4 tracks on BBC Intro total. They have also had articles in Gigslutz and multiple articles in XS Noise, as well as multiple plays on Planet Rock.
