THE MUSIC FILES FAVOURITE TRACK: ‘The Useful Idiots’ This electronic indie rock anthem will have you hooked from the get-go. Listen to this track once and we guarantee you’ll be instantly impressed. I already have visions of INVISIBLE WIRE headlining a festival … they write the type of music that was made for a live setting which would certainly gather a large crowd. We can’t wait to see what this band have in store for us next year!
THE MUSIC FILES FAVOURITE LYRICS: ‘Lost in translation, I will never read’ (Silver Dub)
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS AS TOLD BY THE BAND: ‘It’s got to be the barage of recent radio play of the debut EP, here there and everywhere around the globe. The first time it was on air I (Dom) was a bag of nerves pacing the house like we were about to go on stage. It took a calmer head to remind me that the recording was already in the bag and would sound great, so I ought to get a grip…. Since then, it’s been one station after another, and we love them all! The second release, DYSTOPIA is coming a couple of weeks.‘
GIG HIGHLIGHTS AS TOLD BY THE BAND: ‘We kicked off our live career at a place called the ‘Urban Bar’ down in Whitechapel, filling the place for what was an absolutely sublime night. From there we did a handful of venues in north London, including the ‘Water Rats’ and the (absolutely legendary!) ‘Hope and Anchor’, which was a major buzz. Sadly, you-know-what kicked in after that, so the extensive gigging plans have been put on hold big time. When the time comes, we’ll be more than ready though…’
