Jack Blackman and the Beautiful Wreck release alternative Christmas song in aid of Homelessness.

Newly formed indie rock n roll band, Jack Blackman and the Beautiful Wreck release the incredibly clever Grinch-like Christmas track, ‘I Wish It Was Summer (At Christmas Time)’ in order to raise money for Crisis, a national charity for the homeless.

The track focuses on the longful wait for Summer 2021 with the band wishing they could skip Christmas and enjoy the warm weather instead. I Wish It Was Summer (At Christmas Time)‘s lyrics really stand out: ‘You can keep your Christmas cheer man I wish it was summer, thank god it’s only once a year it just makes me glummer.’ The track certainly fits in with a doom and gloom we have all faced this year yet Jack Blackman and the band manage to create some Christmas spirit within the humoured lyrics of the Christmas track – something we all need this year!

If you haven’t listened to Jack Blackman and the Beautiful Wreck yet, then what are you waiting for?! Tune in below now…
