Hailing from Newcastle, Fossway are an alternative rock trio made up of Daniel Mason (Guitar/Vocals), John Lennox (Bass/Vocals) and Harry Lowery (Drums). They have just released their new single “Live In The Fire” and it’s absolutely outstanding.
Last year seen Fossway play festivals like Lindisfarne, Hook & Gun, and Long Division – sharing billing alongside the likes of Peter Hook & The Light, We Are Scientists and False Advertising. It’s clear with the bands new single they live up to some of the legends that they have played beside.
“Live In The Fire” combines BIG guitar riffs and hooks, outstanding drumming, solid bass lines and Daniel’s stunningly powerful vocals. Fossway’s new single makes you want to be back at a sweaty gig jumping about to this BANGER! It’s clear that Fossway have a sound of their own which takes influence from all areas of rock. This band are going to be big so get onto them now.
John Lennox who is the bassist and lyricist in Fossway said “lyrically, I wanted to encapsulate our journey as a band through hyperbole. The burning desire to play shows in front of live audiences and travelling to different cities to reach new people. Getting through the challenges together as a band and coming sticking together as both friends and a working team”.
