The standard of music the young musician is producing, is so high that it’s hard to believe he only released his first single just under a year ago. The self-taught artist blends pop-dance music with R&B influences, creating his own unique and exciting sound.
‘My Love.’ is the latest single by the artist, following the success of his previous release ‘Something About Us.’ The unsigned, self-taught musician has perfected his sound from the comfort of his own home with aid of online tutorials. The single features ambient vocals that have become signature to Bates artist persona and is paired dreamily with a catchy dance beat. In my opinion, ‘My Love’ is *chef’s kiss*.
Bates has had his music featured on BBC Introducing and reaching over 500’000 streams online, all within the first year of the artists career. This is just the beginning for Bates and I can’t wait to hear more amazing music set to be released in the next year. ANDREWBATES is absolutely my artist to watch, for 2021.
