Meet the Bands – Enjoyable Listens

Who? London based band, Enjoyable Listens

Genre? Alternative Rock

For fans of? Interpol, Joy Division and White Lies

Why are we digging them? They certainly live up to their name. The unique baritone vocals flow perfectly with the easy breeze of melodies the band create! Clear 80s influence with their own individual touch – certainly a band you won’t have heard anything like in the local scene – until now!

Favourite Track: Summer Hit – This dreamy melodic track takes listeners on an adventure through it’s edgy guitar riffs and gripping vocals. It was the first track I’d ever heard from Enjoyable Listens but it certainly left me eager to hear more! There’s a peaceful atmospheric quality surrounding the track, perhaps the perfect hangover cure anthem?!

Our Favourite Lyrics?‘Broken homes are unavoidable, you move from one crack to the next. ‘ Drowning in the Reef

Gig and Career highlights as told by the band: ‘We started digging in late 2018, just playing pubs in Buckinghamshire, but our reputation quickly grew and we made some great friends along the way, namely the formidable Tugboat Captain who have been so supportive of us, and who are also one of the best acts I’ve ever seen live. We played a nationwide tour spanning 17 dates, which were a mixture of headline shows, supporting Tugboat Captain, and The Orielles. A few months later we played a sold out show with British Sea Power and released a limited run of singles on Oxford’s ‘All Will Be Well’ vinyl label, which we supported with a full capacity show at the George Tavern in Shadwell. Since then I’ve been recording at home and have released one single; ‘Summer Hit’ which was featured in So Young Magazine a couple of days ago.’
