Who? Hailing from Exeter, Jordan (Hookway) vocals and guitar, Jake (Hodgson) guitar, Noah (Groves) bass and backing vocals and Mack (Hodgson) on the drums all make up Quorum.

GENRE? Pop Punk Rock

FOR FANS OF: Don Broco, Deaf Havana and The 1975

THE MUSIC FILES FAVOURITE TRACK: GO. Their latest track begins at a slower pace to their usual rockier vibe and then all of sudden the crescendo of the chorus erupts with a blend of heavy guitar riffs and rapid drums that we all know and love… The track itself relates to getting away and starting again making it the ideal track to listen to when you’ve had a bad day and want to just block reality out… to be honest most of Quorum’s music are perfect for that. It’s not just the lyrics I love about the track but the music as well. It really shows the high quality of the band’s talents. We recommend you have a listen to GO with the volume turned up FULL BLAST to really get the full benefit!

WHY ARE WE DIGGIN THEM? Quorum’s music takes listeners on a journey … each track as it’s own personal meaning that we can take away with us. They’ve got this fresh, energetic, addictive sound about them that makes them stand out from just another punk rock band… we can’t wait to see what else the four piece have in store for us over the next year!

THE MUSIC FILES FAVOURITE LYRICS: Headstrong: ‘I said let’s go out and we’ll get drunk love and she said but we do that everyday, I say so what do you want then? She said maybe you should change your ways’

GIG AND CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Playing shows from the local Exeter Cavern to the Poole Lighthouse and Bournemouth’s Buffalo, proving their capability to control a room, capture an audience and find new fans was undeniable.  These intimate and electric shows paved the way for the band to exhibit true belonging across larger festival stages across the country such as Chagstock and Shebfest in Summer 2019.

Jump forward to March 2020 and the South West based outfit released the first of 3 brand new singles ‘Boyfriend’. An undeniable indie-pop anthem, showcasing the sonic versatility within the group with catchy melodies from guitarist Jake Hodgson and stellar vocals from frontman Jordan Hookway.

‘Boyfriend’ was received with unanimous applause, hitting thousand of views with its music video and an incredible amount of radio airplay all over the country. Most notably from BBC Radio Devon from which Introducing presenter and host Sarah Gosling tipped it as her track of the week across Radio Devon as well as Radio Cornwall.
