Today, Cameron Mclean, one half of alternative rock band, Pyro gives us his favourite lockdown albums. We’re big fans of Pyro’s latest release, ‘I’ll Understand’ and can’t wait to see to what else have in store for us in the future!
Album 1: Let’s Go Sunshine -The Kooks
Favourite Track: Initials for Gainsborough. It’s such a cheery song and reminds me of Christmas with the sleigh bells
Album 2: Pony- Rex Orange County
Favourite Track: Face to Face – A song that reminds me of one of my best pals Chris
Album 3: My Love is Cool- Wolf Alice
Favourite Track: Silk – Picked this track as it has one vocal harmony that turns me on.
Album 4 : Sum of all your parts- Fatherson
Favourite Track: Reflection This is a track that has shaped the way I play guitar and love the ambiance of the track.
Album 5: Sad happy- Circa Waves
Favourite Track: The Things We Knew Last Night. The whole album is flawless but this tune is so chill and different from the album.
That was really hard to pick just 5 but here are some honourable mentions: Don’t Wait Till Tomorrow- Yonaka, Awake Fall Better- Vukovi, C.L.A.D.I.A 0105, The Night Cafe-Strange Clothes
