Have a read below to find out what albums Alice has been listening to throughout the lowdown…
Album 1: The Beatles – “A Hard Day’s Night”

I think it’s best to start off with a classic so “A Hard Day’s Night” by The Beatles, or any Beatles really! Why did it make the list? I think most people have grown up with The Beatles surrounding them and I couldn’t live without them. My favourite track on the album is “And I Love Her”.
Album 2: “Red Rum Club – Matador”

Why did it make the list? They were the first band I promoted and they’ll always hold a special place in my heart. I absolutely love the whole album and no matter how much I listen to it I never get bored.
My favourite track has got to be the title track “Matador”, there’s nothing better than belting it out and just getting carried away in the moment. Even listening to the album in isolation if you close your eyes you can imagine every move the band will be doing to it.
Album 3: Ocean Colour Scene’s “Moseley Shoals”

Why did it make the list? Ocean Colour Scene’s “Moseley Shoals” is another album I could not live without! I discovered the album when I was in school and fell in love with it. There’s so many good songs on it.
Favourite Track: I would need to choose “It’s My Shadow” as my favourite song on the album, I can remember playing it on repeat when I was younger. I would say this is one of the albums that really got me into music and discovering different artists. I’ve seen the band live a few times and they’ve been some of my favourite gigs so far.
Album 4: All Change” by Cast

Why did it make the list? “All Change” by Cast is another amazing album, I could easily play it on repeat for hours. I never really knew much about Cast until I started studying music business and was working at their show in Greenock Town Hall when I was 17. I was blown away by them and have been a massive fan ever since.
My favourite song on the album has got to be “Walkaway”. I remember working at Party At The Palace a few years ago when they were playing, I was walking across the field when they started playing “Walkaway” and I was one of the best moments I’ve ever felt at a festival! There was just something in the way the crowd reacted to it, it’s always been a special song to me.
Album 5: The View – “Bread and Circuses”

Why did it make the list? Finally, I think I’ll need to pick The View! My favourite album would probably be “Bread and Circuses” but I love them all to be honest. My favourite song would be “Blondie”. I think every Scottish music fan can appreciate The View in some way! The View’s crowds are like no other, I remember seeing them at their last Glasgow show in the O2 ABC and the whole atmosphere was like nothing I’ve ever seen.
That’s only five albums but there are so many more that I love and could listen to all day!
