WHO? South African singer/songwriter Lauren Tracy and French musician, Indy Laville met in Vietnam, the other side of the world where they created the phenomenon that is Moon Rise City.

GENRE? Indie alternative influenced by swing, jazz and psychedelic rock.

WHY ARE WE DIGGIN THEM?  The duo create a variety of different genres within their music including jazz, swing, pop and psychedelic rock when blended creates the unique sound that is Moon Rise City

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Their debut single, Shadows of the Trees was added to ‘New Music Friday South Africa’ an official Spotify playlist which also has over 1000 streams on the platform, the video for their debut single reaching over 5000 views and the release of their second single, Suspicious Creatures which has had a great response with fans so far.

GIG HIGHLIGHTS: Mango Bay Beach Bar in Vietnam, Creative Collection Showcase in Ho Chi Minh City and playing in the Goca Art Gallery!

WHAT’S NEXT: The duo would love to perform in other parts of the world including Europe after we recover from the COVID 19 pandemic, they will also be releasing their third single, ‘You Can Take My Money’ next month before releasing the full EP during the summer.
