The Lutras
A four-piece group from Dumfries, originating briefly in 2013 before returning in 2016 with a new drummer. The band went on to record their debut single ‘Those Were the Days,’ before gigging in and around their hometown. Since forming The Lutras have grown rapidly since the formation of the band, playing in gigs across Scotland including Glasgow and the capital, also playing various tours like Electric Fields and Belladrum Festival.
Their latest single ‘Fight Night,’ was released in December (2019) and showcases their rock influences and just how versatile they can be in regard to previous tracks including ‘Run & Hide.’
Can’t wait to catch these guys at Stereo this month, hope to see you there!

Paragon
Playing to their hometown this February, Paragon are among the list of talented bands ready to grace the stage at Stereo in 2 weeks. Appealing to fans of The View, The Strokes and Catfish and the Bottlemen, the four-piece indie group feature heavy guitar rhythms and raw lyrics throughout their tracks.
Their song ‘Moscow,’ was released on Spotify only last year (July 2019) and since they have gigged up and down the country doing their thing.
Having been relatively new to the Scottish music scene these boys are already leaving their mark and are we expect them to achieve great things in their music careers.

Last Light
Releasing their debut EP in 2018, the group have been performing since the Glasgow trio were in high school, gigging around the City and various Scottish venues. Their sound differs to the bands they are sharing the stage with this February as they feature the female vocals of Lauren McGurn who contributes beautiful harmonies to their tracks like ‘Red Diamond.’
They have been described as ‘simple yet complicated,’ which is an accurate description considering their influences range from Biffy Clyro to Led Zepplin.
The vocal and guitar harmonies of Last Light are extremely complimentary to one another and this can be seen throughout their tracks including ‘Sunder,’ and ‘Poems.’
Catch the band at Stereo in two weeks.

Dogtooth
Starting out in 2013, a young Dogtooth began gigging throughout Glasgow and the west including Paisley’s Modstuff as well as performing across the UK. Like many young musicians, the group began by covering tracks of their favourite bands including the likes of The Stone Roses to The Who but soon after the boys began writing and producing their own material. Their debut single ‘Breakthrough,’ was released in May 2017 at Argyle Street’s HMV, and have since continued to grow and become one of the most popular upcoming bands in the country.
Their sets now include plenty original material and the group seem to show no signs of stopping any time soon…
At Stereo on 22nd February, the group will headline as well as launching their brand new single ‘CUT,’ you really don’t want to miss this!
